Unisex pants made from printed ramie. This model has an elasticated waistband and pleats on the front. This exclusive print is based on a watercolour made by Cortana's creative director.
Ramie is one of the oldest fibres, used for millennia and known for its strength and silk-like shine. It is a sustainable fabric, as it requires less water and pesticides than other textile crops. In addition, it grows quickly and has a high production per hectare, minimising its environmental impact. It is also biodegradable and recyclable.
The ramie fibres in Cortana collections are woven using traditional methods, which can create slight variations in the thickness of the yarn in different garments. These subtle differences contribute to the distinctive charm of our designs and are an integral part of the artisanal quality of natural fibres and yarns.
