Rosa Esteva, creative director of Cortana

Cortana is the brand of the designer Rosa Esteva, born and raised on the island of Mallorca, where from an early age she cultivated a close relationship with art and nature.

At the age of 18 she moved to Barcelona, where she studied Fine Arts and Fashion Design. Shortly after finishing her studies she began to design her own collections and in 2001 she created Cortana and opened her first store at Palma.
After this opening Cortana opens in 2003 store in the Borne of Barcelona and in 2011 opens a second store next to Paseo de Gracia. In 2006 opens the store Madrid, in the emblematic alley of Jorge Juan.

The creations of Cortana are characterized by their careful selection of fabrics, its color palette and unique prints, which are based on the creative director's own watercolors.

Collections made exclusively with natural fabrics of the highest quality, each piece is created with care and attention to detail by artisan hands. Since its inception the production focuses on small workshops that keep alive the textile heritage of Barcelona or in Mallorca, where we support the recovery of local craftsmanship.

From 2022 Cortana, in collaboration with master craftsmen from Mallorca, a new line is included; Cortana Casa, with various objects such as ceramic tableware, wooden trays, or blown glass vases, among others.

This same year, a new space of more than 600 square meters was inaugurated in the heart of Palma, where all the brand's lines are offered.

"At Cortana we believe in praising slowness. By doing things at a slower pace, we do them better. We aim to educate, inspire, and influence a change in the fashion industry by encouraging our clients to stop and make better, more conscious purchases." Rosa Esteva
